With unprecedented civilian access to the fearsome Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter, the "boys" on the team were in their element as they filmed at UK Army Air Corps HQ in Middle Wallop, Hampshire.
Marking the 40th Anniversary of The Blue Eagles - the helicopter display team of the UK Army - our latest project at Pozitiv for the Ministry of Defence was to create a short film to be shown at air shows across the country as well as help recruit new soldiers.
This year is the very first time the £36m Apache - the most sophisticated attack helicopter in service - will be seen at public air shows, taking a starring role in the formation alongside the likes of the more familiar Lynx and Gazelle.
Piloting the Apache will be instructor, Major Chris Whipp, who also presents the video. The video was directed by Glenn Kinsey.
The base at Middle Wallop is where both Prince William and Prince Harry learned to fly the Apache as part of their training.
