15 Jan 2013

Glenn recently trained the staff at one of his supported charities, IntoFilm, to help them more effectively deliver live weekly webcasts to over 250,000 children and teenagers across the UK.

At their London HQ, he led a series of coaching sessions covering live broadcasting, presenting to camera and interviewing skills to lift the confidence and competence of the on-screen team.

Webcasts have included interviews with the likes of Tom Hanks, Renee Zellweger, George Clooney and Steven Spielberg as well as allowing young people up and down the country to interact live with the studio.

IntoFilm delivers the BFI's 5-19 film education scheme and was formed from the merger of two charities, FilmClub and First Light. It seeks to put film at the heart of children and young people's learning, contributing to their cultural, creative and personal development.

Their UK-wide programme of learning through and about film provides 5-19 year olds with unparalleled opportunities to see, think, make and imagine. The organisation works nationwide with over 250,000 young people, including students from some of the most deprived areas of the country with limited opportunities for real life experiences.
