After providing PR support throughout last year's U2 World Tour, Glenn and his team has once again been engaged for this year's sell-out European concerts.
Dealing with over a dozen languages, our multi-lingual team at Pozitiv - led by Glenn Kinsey - has just completed working on shows across the continent including dates in Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Germany and Turkey providing personal support directly to the Irish band as well as concert promoters, Live Nation, album publisher Universal Music and Bono's charitable One Organisation.
Record-breaking
There was massive media interest once again for the record-breaking 360 Tour with 650,000 tickets sold within seven hours of the dates being announced, generating hundreds of press articles worldwide.
Bono continued to attract headlines meeting politicians including Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev, Turkish Prime Minister, Tayyip Erdogan and French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. And he had notable successes, including helping to turn around the Russian authorities' decision to destruct the Khimkinskiy Forest.
World's biggest rock group
It's expected to be the most profitable music tour in history, reinforcing the band's position as the world's biggest rock group and is U2's first tour under a 12 year deal with promoters, Live Nation.
Last year's opening concert in Barcelona saw a live link to the Russian space station as well as a presentation from Archbishop Desmond Tutu, with over 100 of the world's key media outlets in attendance at the city's Camp Nou Stadium.
Aung San Suu Kyi
Part of the show was dedicated to the plight of Nobel Peace Prize winner, Aung San Suu Kyi, currently under house arrest in Burma. (Ed. update: Aung San Suu Kyi was subsequently released in November 2010)
The Claw
The centre piece of the show is the incredible "Claw", a massive four-legged stage that's set another world record for the largest concert stage structure ever and allows the audience to view the concert "in the round".
The tour supports the group's 2009 album, No Line On The Horizon and continues next year.
